In Yirgachffe, where we served for years, there will be a celebration of the 75th anniversary of the birth of the church in that area among the Gedeo people. Tens of thousands are expected to gather February 17-18.
When we arrived in 1983 there were about 40 churches. Now there are over 500 churches with over half a million congregants. Praise God for His faithfulness and the rescue of their souls through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Our son, Ryan, his wife, Melissa, and their three kids will join me. Drew, our oldest son who lives in South Africa will fly up from Cape Town to meet us in Addis Ababa. What a privilege to preach the Word of God. What a reunion it will be!
COMING OUT OF THE GROUND
The foundation for the Harding Memorial Bible College Dorm and Office Project has been completed and the walls are going up! How wonderful to see this progress!
YOUTH MAKE UP 75% OF THOSE ATTENDING
Pray that God would move many young people to study the Word and commit to obeying the Great Commission.

It will be great for Ryan to show his family where he grew up, They will have opportunity to share their testimony of their love of Jesus. Pray for God’s grace to abound and that many would rededicate their lives to serving our Lord Jesus.

Grace will not be joining Bill on this trip. Pray for Grace as she stays home. Pray for safety for Bill’s travels and empowerment by the Holy Spirit as he preaches to the thousands of spiritually hungry people.
