STEVE OLIN AND BILL OFF TO ETHIOPIA
TAKING OFF THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3
We would cherish your prayers for us as we believe God has prepared our hearts and the hearts on many Ethiopians for the Spirit of God to speak to them through the Word of God and the testimony of God’s grace in our lives.
We will have opportunity to speak to thousands of Ethiopians who have a longing thirst and a desperate hunger for the truth rooted in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Steve Olin, a messianic Jew from The Bronx, NYC, has an amazing personal testimony of God bringing him to Himself two days from being homeless after making and loosing millions of dollars. He lost it all, his money, his homes, his cars and even his family BUT GOD rescued him and made him a child of God, redeemed, restored and fully reconciled to God through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Steve now has a powerful ministry in the prisons of North and South Carolina and now Ethiopia!
Here is how to pray.
- For safety over the many miles in the air and on the ground.
- For good health
- For the preparation of the hearts of the people to receive the Word as we share at the SIM related churches (KHC) among the Sidama people just outside the city of Hawassa..
- For us to be filled with the Spirit, expressing our love for them and more importantly God’s love for the Gedeo people where Bill and Grace served for many years.
- For Spirit led understanding as we share with the students at the Harding Bible School in Yirgacheffe.
- For God to be glorified at a large celebration at a local church out in a rural area where my friend and colleague, Asfaw, is from.
