The Harding Memorial Bible College Dormitory/Office project has begun!

Drew, Janna and their girls (Kerani, Kirsi, Kaiden, Kaia and Kelty) were with us from South Africa all of July and August! So busy! So fun! So blessed!
Drew and Janna visited supporters and friends of their ministry. They helped put Kaiden back into Davidson College, Kirsi back into Wheaton College and freshman, Kaia, into Liberty University on a field hockey scholarship. Also, Selah, our granddaughter from Ryan and Melissa, joined Kaia as a freshman at Liberty University. Growing up so fast!
A BIG MILESTONE! WE CELEBRATED BILL’S DAD’S 95TH BIRTHDAY ON SEPTEMBER 13TH! ALL CANDLES WERE BLOWN OUT
What a great time to celebrate God’s faithfulness in his life. The five siblings and their spouses sat around our table and listened to story after story. Grand-kids sent in questions about his life. So much laughter! It was a precious time and memory! He is doing great!
CELEBRATING THE ETHIOPIAN NEW YEAR
Grace, Kara and Bill were invited to a huge celebration of the Ethiopian community in Charlotte, North Carolina for this New Year’s celebration. On their calendar they are celebrating the beginning of 2016. Hundreds showed up to watch culture dancing, listen to poetry and feast on their national dish, injera b’wut. These connections gives us great inroads to building relationships and sharing the gospel. Love it!
PRAYER AND PRAISE
- In October Bill will be preaching at Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr, PA for their mission conference and then on to Wheaton College to participate in a gathering at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association called AMPLIFY 2023. Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit and blessing as Bill shares God’s kingdom purposes from His Word.
- An urgent request! Muslim background believers are being persecuted in southern Ethiopia. A police convoy has entered the fray to rescue the Christians.
- Pray for the construction efforts for the HMBC dormitory/office project and for the needed funding.
- Praise for many Ethiopian Orthodox Church priests coming into a personal relationship with Jesus and a greater understanding of the Word of God.
