Off to Africa to minister to our SIM S. Sudan team!
We are excited and thrilled to have been invited to lead the Spiritual Life Conference for our SIM S. Sudan team. We leave on Easter Sunday afternoon to Nairobi, Kenya. After that, we board a train to Mombasa, Kenya located on the Indian Ocean. The retreat will be on April 24-28.
We have put together a wonderful team that will encourage not only the adults, but the missionary kids as well. Our daughter, Kara, an MK herself, will lead the children’s ministry with a fun couple, Jeffrey and Rometa Arrington, from Calvary Church, Charlotte, NC. Bill’s sister, Gwen, and here husband, Steve Smith, are amazing communicators with much experience of leading soul care retreats. Much loved, Joal Devendorf, from Houston Texas will be leading the worship.
Our SIM team in S. Sudan are ministering in one of the most difficult and challenging contexts in our SIM world.
Prayer and Praise
Please pray for all the travel, logistics, planning, preparation and safety. Pray that the power of our resurrected Lord Jesus ,whom we celebrate this Sunday, will be magnified and His love displayed. May the Word of God speak boldly through the Holy Spirit into the hearts of each person so they may be encouraged.

BEYOND KENYA
After a time to debrief the ministry team, Bill and Grace will head to Ethiopia for a very short visit to meet the SIM leadership.
From Addis Ababa we will have direct flight to Cape Town, South Africa. We will have time to minister to our SIM S. Africa team.
We will also have the joy to visit our son, Drew, his wife, Janna and our five grand-daughters. A very long commute to see our grand kids who live in Stellenbosch! So excited about this rendezvous! We return home on May 19 after attending a extended family wedding in Tampa, FL. Whew, getting tired just looking at the itinerary!
