Ethiopia and Beyond…
What is the compelling challenge?
Launching another decade of accelerating evangelism and intentional discipleship through the proclamation of God’s life-giving and life-changing Word in the context of political, religious, ethnic conflict with security challenges.
The Ethiopian children pictured above will be formulating their world view by the age of 13. SIM and its related churches are reaching children and youth in the least reached parts giving them an opportunity to look at the world through the lens of Scripture.

Grace and I are so excited for what is ahead of us as we seek to use our gifts and training to raise up another generation of harvest workers. Recently we have had opportunities for this in Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, Ontario, Canada, Austin, Texas and Charleston, South Carolina. Presently preparing two trips to Ethiopia in 2020.
We wish to thank each of you personally for standing with us the way you have through the years. We desire to press on with SIM to glorify the Lord Jesus in sharing the gospel to make an impact for Him here in North America, Ethiopia and beyond. There are many good causes and organizations to contribute to. Thanks for choosing us! 30% of our support comes from year-end gifts. We give praise to Him for His provision through you.

- At present, there is political turmoil in Ethiopia. Road closures, demonstrations coupled with ethnic and religious strife. Pray that forgiveness would release people from the desire to take revenge for the past wrongs and that every chest would be filled with a heart overflowing with thankfulness for God’s reconciling presence.
- Pray that men and women of peace would unify and that people with hearts to serve others’ needs instead of their own needs would fill the halls of government.
We can pray these prayers for our own countries as well.
