51 Graduate from the Harding Bible
School in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia

We wanted to share the news with you that came last week from where we have served for years. Seeing this line of Ethiopian students of the Word of God who are now more prepared to to take the gospel to the least reached and to equip and disciple others in their own communities thrills our hearts!

My mom’s legacy lives on! My mom, Elaine Harding passed away in November 1999. Her heart and ministry was to disciple young women in Ethiopia. The memorial fund that was set up at that time continues to prepare women to love and serve the Lord Jesus. Here are four of the recent graduates.
Here is the sign on top of the school written in both English and Amharic. It is a two year curriculum in Bible, missions and church leadership development. The courses are taught in the Amharic language.
In February 2013 the new Harding Bible School was dedicated with over 20,000 believers in attendance as well as a delegation from our home church, Calvary Church, Charlotte, NC.
Pray
- for these new graduates as they integrate back into their mission context both in Ethiopia and abroad.
- peace and a resolve to ethnic conflict that has left millions displaced.
- for the Lords supply for the Yirgacheffe church leaders, Bible school teachers who have suffered the loss of their homes, salaries and much more over the past six months.
- Give thanks for their resilience, dept of faith and their trust in God to meet their needs.
